Windows machine setup
This section will cover installing a Linux distrubution with Windows Subsystem for Linux on your Windows 10 machine and then using my Linux setup for configurating it.
The Linux configuration on Windows is the same as on my standard Linux environments, but with the components that do not work on WSL disabled.
This includes virtualisation tools like Docker and VirtualBox and GUI tools like IDEs running as Windows applications and services.
Supported environments
I'm running Windows 10 Pro on my PC and these instructions haven't been tested with any other Windows versions.
Requirements
See the requirements page for Windows system requirements.
Issues with the Linux setup
If you come across any issues related to my Linux set up on WSL, you can create new issue on my GitHub repository.
